MIXON DIGITAL
JUNIOR DESIGNER - REMOTE
DATES EMPLOYED

05/2024 to 01/2025

JOB DESCRIPTION

After being promoted to a Junior Designer with Mixon Digital, I designed and animated the in-arena stat graphics packages for several NBA and NHL teams. These packages included player and team stat graphics, as well as game trends and shot charts. I also designed important features for packages such as the NBA and WNBA Drafts, updating branding and implementing sponsors. One of my bigger projects with Mixon was my contribution towards the WNBA All Star Weekend, as I was the primary designer and animator for the Saturday night events; Kia Skills Challenge and Starry 3 Point Contest. I traveled to the event the week before the event to test and refine the project with the Gainsbridge Fieldhouse boards and screens.

DETROIT PISTONS
MOTION DESIGN INTERN - DETROIT, MI
DATES EMPLOYED

10/2023 to 05/2025

JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Motion Design Intern with the Detroit Pistons, I conceptualized and collaborated with the rest of the creative team to create dynamic designs and animations for the Pistons, as well as their G-League and 2K League affiliates (Motor City Cruise and Pistons GT). The designs I made were used for in-arena graphics, social media templates, marketing applications and broadcast. As an intern, I learned how to integrate core themes, partners and Pistons branding into my work, while absorbing feedback from my supervisors and executives. One of the bigger projects I worked on was the design, animation, and versioning of the Pistons starting five intros for the entirety of the 2023-24 season, with a package that fit all of the LED boards in Little Caesar's Arena, as well as fitting each of the 3 uniform/court combinations identities. Working under a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines taught me how to work efficiently under the constant pressure and stakes that working in sports brings.
